Here at Fox Chapel Advanced Dental Care we strive to provide our patients with the best care available. We now have a Galileos 3D cone beam scan which produces high resolution images with the lowest amount of radiation possible.  This allows Dr. Pawlowicz to detect and treat problems early as well as achieve the most natural looking smile for you! Less than 1 % of all Dentists have this system in their office, but we are PROUD to offer this cutting edge technology to our patients!

How it Works:

Its quick and comfortable! You will be asked to stand still for 14 seconds while Galileos rotates around your head and quickly takes 200 images of your skull. Then the images are transferred to our computers where Dr. Pawlowicz can really get a high definition  look at things. We can view 3D images of your bone density, nerves, cavities and any abnormalities such as impacted teeth to determine what the best treatment options are for you. 

Dr. Pawlowicz is able to do virtual treatment planning and can see what traditional 2D images can often miss! Galileos is a very important part of all aspects of dentistry services we provide!
